Meta’s Network Infrastructure team designs, builds, and operates one of the world’s largest networks, with a focus on backbone, data center, and AI network domains. Production Network Engineers blend software and networking to deploy scalable solutions that power Meta’s global services.

You will establish best practices, develop automation, collaborate with hardware/software teams, and drive efficiency across network deployments and operations.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE or equivalent
• 6+ years designing, building, operating scalable networks
• 4+ years coding in Python/Go/C/C++/Java
• Knowledge of TCP, IPv4/IPv6, BGP/MPLS/ISIS and related services
• Experience configuring network devices in multi-vendor environments
• Hardware evaluation and vendor management
• Experience developing software using AI models

Responsabilidades

• Establish and implement global best practices and design new, scalable network solutions
• Conceptualize, build, and maintain automation and tools to support new product introductions, network deployment, release engineering, and operations
• Design and develop solutions that scale across a variety of hardware platforms of network equipment
• Lead enhancements of automation for CI, validations, testing infrastructure, release, and configuration management across global backbone, data center, and edge networks
• Work closely with hardware, software, and sourcing teams to develop new networking solutions and influence future networking infrastructure
• Investigate complex technical issues across networks, from automated tooling to hardware failures
• Develop operational process improvements and implement scalable, automated workflows
• Improve cross-functional efficiency by identifying roadblocks and delivering automation solutions
• Identify gaps, plan execution, and drive collaboration to achieve goals
• Participate in on-call rotation to learn from production challenges and improve products
• Mentor peers and contribute to team growth
