Job summary

Akamai is seeking a Senior Manager, Network Infrastructure, to lead the global Network Implementation Management team and drive delivery excellence across circuits and data center interconnections. You will partner with Network Engineering, Strategy, Architecture, NOCC, and other Infra teams to enable scale and AI Cloud readiness.

Qualifications

• 10 years relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MIS, or related field
• Extensive experience with telecommunications and data center vendors
• Strong track record of employee development and engagement
• Drive for process improvement
• Experience guiding teams through process changes and realignments

Responsibilities

• Managing a team of Network Implementation Managers across six countries
• Overseeing 2500+ circuit deployment projects annually
• Establishing relationships with key bandwidth vendors globally
• Maintaining cross-connect assets and COGS responsibility for disconnects
• Leading initiatives to standardize processes and drive efficiency and automation
• Integrating provisioning tasks into the team’s responsibilities
