Job summary

Winston Taylor LLP is seeking a Network Engineer to design, maintain, and improve a global network infrastructure across offices, data centers, and cloud environments. The role focuses on secure, highly available connectivity, including Azure, Cisco, Palo Alto, SD-WAN, and VPN technologies.

You will drive automation, resiliency, and security improvements while adhering to change-management and documentation standards. Travel to multiple firm locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with a CompTIA Network+ Certification or Bachelor's Degree in a Computer Science discipline.
• 3+ years of information technology network experience with configuration of LAN, WAN, and Internet protocol technologies are required.
• Ability to work outside of standard business hours, and travel to various firm business locations as required
• Must live within commutable distance to local office and come in 3-4 days per week.
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Azure Administrator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network-related hardware, software, and connectivity services across the firm’s global environment.
• Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, patches, hot fixes, firmware updates, and security configurations.
• Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and reliability, and proactively address issues that may affect service continuity.
• Improve the efficiency, automation, resiliency, and security of network services across on‑premises infrastructure and Azure environments.
• Follow established configuration, change management, and documentation standards to ensure changes are approved, communicated, successful, and supportable.
• Partner with the security team to select, implement, and maintain network security tools, policies, and procedures.
