Job summary

Winston Taylor LLP is seeking a Network Engineer to design, maintain, and scale the firm’s global network infrastructure across offices, data centers, and cloud platforms. The role emphasizes security, automation, and resiliency, with hands-on work on Cisco/Palo Alto gear, VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud integration.

You will lead network upgrades, monitor performance, and collaborate with security to enforce Zero Trust policies. Travel to firm locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Requires CompTIA Network+ or Bachelor's in CS.
• 3+ years of IT network experience with LAN/WAN/IP.
• Willing to travel and work outside standard hours.
• Must live within commutable distance to local office.
• CCNA or Azure Administrator certification preferred.
• Solid understanding of OSI/TCP/IP models.
• Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and VPN solutions.
• Understanding Zero Trust architectures.
• Experience with network automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network hardware, software, and connectivity across global environment.
• Perform network maintenance and upgrades, patches, firmware updates, and security configurations.
• Monitor network performance, availability, capacity, and reliability; address issues proactively.
• Improve efficiency, automation, resiliency, and security of network services.
• Follow configuration, change management and documentation standards.
• Partner with security team to select, implement, and maintain network security tools and policies.
