Job summary

SpaceX, headquartered in the United States, seeks a Network Engineer for Starlink to drive global network deployment and operations. You will work on interconnections, POPs, and performance optimization across the Starlink footprint, collaborating with hardware, software, and field teams.

Responsibilities include capacity planning, troubleshooting, and mentoring junior engineers, with opportunities to influence system architecture and pre-sales support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience deploying enterprise or cloud & web-scale networks.
• Hands-on Layer-1 transport and fiber troubleshooting experience.
• Experience deploying networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls).
• Proficiency with Python or Bash scripting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand network interconnections, POPs and co-location sites.
• Improve performance and reliability using metrics and capacity planning.
• Lead deployment and optimization of network augmentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate across hardware/software teams.
• Provide pre-sales technical support for Starlink deployments.
• Architect integration of Starlink assets with traditional networks.
