Job summary

Mimecast’s Infrastructure & IT team is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to own day-to-day operation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our global corporate network. Based in Lexington, MA on a hybrid schedule, you’ll work with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba platforms to resolve complex issues and drive upgrades.

You’ll design, build, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure across multiple sites, lead upgrades, and use automation to improve performance and scalability, while

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mastery of enterprise network engineering across multi-site networks.
• Hands-on with Juniper Mist, EX, SRX and Cisco Meraki in enterprise environments.
• Experience with Opengear or similar out-of-band management platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the design, build, and maintenance of network infrastructure across Mimecast’s global office locations.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across LAN, WAN, SD‑WAN, SASE, and wireless services.
• Partner with Security to implement network security policies and segmentation.
• Lead upgrade projects and technology refresh initiatives.
• Leverage automation to streamline operations and improve configuration consistency.
