Job summary

Mimecast is seeking a Principal Network Engineer to own the daily operation, troubleshooting, and improvements of our global corporate network from Lexington, MA on a hybrid schedule. You will work hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, and Aruba platforms, collaborating with IT, Security, and Workspace teams to deliver reliable, high-performance connectivity.

You will lead network upgrades, automate operations, and ensure secure, scalable infrastructure that supports a hybrid workforce and business

Qualifications

• Demonstrated mastery of enterprise network engineering with multi-site infra experience.
• Extensive hands-on Juniper expertise (Mist, EX, SRX).
• Strong Cisco Meraki proficiency for cloud-managed switching and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Mimecast's global network across office locations.
• Troubleshoot LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, SASE, and wireless to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with Security on policies, access controls, and segmentation.
