Job summary

Brivo, in collaboration with Eagle Eye Networks, seeks a mid-level Network Engineer to own the global data center backbone and design scalable overlay networks. You will work across engineering teams to implement Juniper EVPN-VXLAN fabrics, scale BGP-based connectivity, and automate provisioning with Python, Bash, and Ansible.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer with Juniper EVPN-VXLAN, advanced routing, and enterprise firewalls.
• Working knowledge of core routing protocols BGP/IPSec for scaling global data center networks.
• Strong proficiency in Linux and automation with Python, Bash, or Ansible.
• Experience with Prometheus and Grafana for proactive network monitoring and insights.

Responsibilities

• Implement, optimize, and scale the global data center backbone for high availability and security.
• Contribute to Juniper EVPN-VXLAN fabric implementation for scalable overlay networks.
• Configure and manage routing protocols (BGP, IPSec, ICCP) for resilient connectivity.
• Configure and maintain security policies using enterprise firewalls (Fortinet or similar).
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, SRE, and Development teams to integrate networking with compute, storage and cloud systems (Kubernetes/Ceph).
• Develop and maintain automation scripts (Python, Bash, Ansible) to streamline network provisioning and scaling.
• Utilize and support network observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) for monitoring and insights.
• Provide effective troubleshooting and resolution for network incidents to minimize downtime.
