Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Sr. Manager to scale its Depot Repair & Sustaining Operations for Class III UAVs. You will lead depot-level maintenance, sustain engineering interfaces, and global support for defense customers, ensuring ITAR/EAR compliance and strong program execution.

The role demands deep aerospace maintenance experience, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to drive cost, quality, and schedule improvements across domestic and international depots.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance Operations Management, Logistics or equivalent
• 10+ years of hands-on manufacturing experience; 3+ years in a supervisory role
• Experience using MRP/ERP systems and strong grasp of supply chain, inventory, distribution and management principles
• Travel up to 10%

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the long-term MRO strategy for Class III UAV product lines.
• Establish the depot-level maintenance organization, including structure, staffing and workflows.
• Define and implement service offerings (depot repair, overhaul, upgrades, retrofit programs).
• Maintain MRO policies and procedures ensuring safety, reliability and compliance with military standards.
