Zusammenfassung

Baker Tilly invites an Experienced Tax Associate to join our Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice in Irvine, CA. You will deliver expatriate tax planning, consulting, and compliance services and collaborate with international teams to support mobility programs for middle-market clients.

Qualifikationen

4-year degree required; CPA/JD/EA eligibility preferred.
Eligible to obtain CPA, JD or EA.
Minimum 1 year of professional experience.

Aufgaben

Prepare U.S. individual income tax returns and tax equalization calculations for inbound and outbound international assignees.
Participate in arrival and departure tax meetings for expatriates and in-patriates.
Prepare U.S. payroll estimates including hypothetical tax and shadow payroll calculations.
Communicate with corporate clients and their assignees.
Assist with various consulting projects including compensation, internal client policies and other ad hoc activities.
Conduct tax research and review tax authority notices.
Coordinate with and support complimentary workforce teams.
Assist with practice management such as reviewing and tracking compliance reports and client billing.
Collaborate with Baker Tilly member firms globally.
Provide technical guidance to tax professionals firm-wide.
