Job summary

University of Brighton seeks a Global Mobility Manager to lead the management, development and delivery of the University's global mobility activity, including study abroad, international exchange and funded schemes. You will collaborate with Academic Schools, Registry and international partners to deliver high-quality, student-centred mobility opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of international student mobility programmes, study abroad and exchange models.
• Experience of managing international mobility or study abroad programmes within higher education.
• Experience of managing staff and delivering services within a complex organisation.
• Experience of managing or supporting externally funded mobility schemes, such as Turing or Erasmus+.
• Experience of partnership management and stakeholder engagement.
• Strong project management, organisational, planning and analytical skills.
• Experience of managing budgets and monitoring financial performance.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the management, development and delivery of the University's global mobility activity.
• Develop operational plans and manage mobility partnerships in collaboration with Academic Schools and international partners.
• Oversee student recruitment, preparation and support for mobility programmes.
• Monitor participation, outcomes and financial performance of mobility activity.
• Manage externally funded mobility schemes and grow fee-paying study abroad activity.
• Lead the Global Mobility team and manage budgets to support future programmes.
