Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and reporting of domestic and international Missions projects. You will manage intake, prioritization, risk, and impact measurement while ensuring alignment with approved budgets and timelines.

The role requires overseeing post-award grant administration, coordinating with Finance, Development, and program teams, and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, nonprofit management, international development, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum five years of progressive project management, program operations, or grants management experience.
• Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and manage cross-functional teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining project reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics.
• Certifications like PMP, CAPM, Agile, Lean, or PMD Pro are preferred.
• Proficiency with project management and data-analysis tools; Asana, SharePoint, Power BI, and related systems are advantageous.
• Experience in diverse/international settings; donor relationships and grant administration knowledge beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of Missions projects aligned with strategic objectives.
• Oversee project intake, prioritization, capacity planning, and risk management to maximize impact.
• Ensure defined goals, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and ownership are documented and tracked.
• Coordinate post-award grant administration and compliance with Finance and Development teams.
• Maintain project management software visibility, workflow consistency, and documentation standards.
• Provide routine portfolio-level reporting and risk assessments to leadership.
• Promote data-driven decisions via impact measurement and performance dashboards.
