Job summary

Buckner Children and Family Services seeks a Project Manager to lead planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of domestic and international Missions projects. You will ensure alignment with budgets, timelines, and grant requirements while providing visibility into performance and capacity.

The role requires five years of progressive project management experience in nonprofit or mission-driven settings, plus strong budgeting, reporting, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in project management, nonprofit management, or a closely related field.
• At least five years of progressive project management or grants management experience.
• Experience leading multiple concurrent projects with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to create and manage project budgets and monitor expenditures.
• Experience with program evaluation, impact measurement, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and continuous improvement of Missions projects.
• Ensure projects align with budgets, timelines, and grant requirements.
• Oversee project intake, prioritization, risk management, and capacity planning.
• Coordinate post-award grant administration and compliance activities.
• Maintain project management software and ensure data quality and visibility.
• Produce internal and external reports on performance and lessons learned.
• Collaborate with Finance, Development, and other teams across international and domestic settings.
