Job summary

Buckner International is seeking a Construction Coordinator I to lead designated housing construction projects under the Buckner Healthy Housing program. The role involves coordinating materials, equipment and labor to complete builds on time and within budget, while ensuring safety and compliance with codes and Buckner policies.

You will also support mission-related activities, coordinate volunteer teams, and track project metrics using tools like Asana.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required to perform essential job functions.
Minimum 3 years prior related experience in construction field.
In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, construction science and construction materials; residential knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee construction of homes in Buckner Healthy Housing program.
Ensure projects align with building codes and permitting requirements.
Oversee contracted labor and ensure quality workmanship.
Apply project management techniques to control cost and time; implement quality control procedures.
Inspect facilities, tool trailers and tools; monitor physical conditions.
Serve as liaison for mission experiences and equip volunteers with project details.
Monitor procurement, delivery, receipt, inspection, storage and distribution of donations in compliance with requirements.
Maintain safety awareness and promote compliance with Buckner policies.
