AECOM is seeking a Mineral Processing Practice Leader to drive growth, technical excellence, and market leadership in our mineral processing business. This senior role blends deep technical depth with commercial acumen and people development, offering global reach and significant autonomy.

Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and metallurgists, shape strategy, and expand services across metals markets while mentoring the next generation of processing engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years of Metallurgical/ Mineral Processing experience.
• Experience in consulting or EPCM environments on multidisciplinary mining projects.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
• Willingness to travel globally.
• Familiarity with international standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the growth, technical excellence, and strategic direction of the Mineral Processing practice.
• Define technical vision and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and metallurgists.
• Drive business development across base metals, precious metals, critical minerals, and industrial minerals markets globally.
• Mentor the next generation of processing engineers and act as a respected SME at client level.
