Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Mineral Processing Practice Leader to drive growth, technical excellence, and market leadership in our mineral processing business. This senior role offers global reach, substantial autonomy, and the opportunity to shape delivery across minerals programs and consulting projects.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years in mineral processing, a strong track record in leadership and business development, and professional registration (CEng/PE). Travel globally is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline with 10+ years in Metallurgical, Chemical, or Mineral Processing Engineering.
• Master’s or PhD in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering preferred or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead growth, technical excellence, and strategic direction of the Mineral Processing practice.
• Define technical vision and lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and metallurgists.
• Drive business development across base metals, precious metals, critical minerals, and industrial minerals markets globally.
• Act as a recognized subject matter expert and thought leader, mentoring the next generation of processing engineers.
