Qualifications

• Experience in multilateral environments, preferably within the UN system.
• Experience working with international agencies and stakeholders.
• Experience in organizing seminars and UN meetings with governments and stakeholders.
• Migration-related experience and knowledge of migration frameworks; GCM experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Senior Migration Policy Officer on liaison aspects related to GCM follow-up and related GA resolutions.
• Help plan and implement Network in New York activities with States, UN entities and stakeholders.
• Maintain relationships with Permanent Missions in New York on Network initiatives.
• Participate in NY-based meetings and engagement with GCM Champion Member States.
• Coordinate Network workstreams and support engagement in multilateral processes in New York.
• Prepare analytical inputs and background materials for engagement on UN activities related to GCM.
• Draft briefing notes, policy papers, talking points and summaries.
• Maintain communications with civil society, private sector, academia and other migration actors.
