Job summary

UNOPS seeks an Intergovernmental Affairs Senior Analyst based in New York to support the Executive Board and engagement with UN Member States. The role focuses on document management, preparing Board sessions, and knowledge sharing to elevate UNOPS visibility and positioning.

The incumbent will manage communications, coordinate with DGACM/GDoc, and provide briefs and summaries for senior leadership interactions with stakeholders and intergovernmental fora.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in international affairs, law, political science, economics, or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of relevant experience is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Executive Board sessions, including formal and informal meetings, virtual or in person.
• Draft and edit internal communications and maintain a centralized repository of Board decisions.
• Track deadlines and coordinate documentation for intergovernmental affairs and DGACM/GDoc liaison.
• Provide briefing notes, talking points, and materials to support senior management engagement with Member States.
