Corning is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing Metals in Charlotte, NC to lead global metal category strategies across divisions and drive cost, risk, and supply assurance outcomes. Reporting to the Global Strategic Sourcing Senior Leader – Metals, you will influence senior stakeholders and guide strategic sourcing decisions.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
• Experience in metals or raw materials sourcing with measurable value.
• Advanced negotiation and contracting expertise in volatile/indexed markets.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities for data‑driven decisions.
• Executive-level communication to influence senior stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Lead global category strategies for metals across divisions and sites.
• Align sourcing with financial targets including margin, cost, and working capital optimization.
• Drive cost and value opportunities with measurable results.
• Provide market intelligence on pricing, supply risk, and capacity constraints.
• Develop should-cost models, total cost of ownership, and cost drivers.
• Lead complex supplier negotiations and long-term contracts.
• Manage executive-level supplier relationships and governance coverage.
