Harrington Process Solutions is seeking a Category Manager – Metals to own metals category strategy and supplier relationships across our broad U.S. network.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 4+ years in purchasing, category management, or sales within wholesale distribution, metals, PVF, or industrial materials.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to translate market insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Metals category strategy, including supplier relationships, pricing, inventory modeling, and new product introductions.
• Lead supplier negotiations on pricing, contracts, rebates, and commercial terms.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to optimize inventory, service performance, and growth targets to maximize rebates.
• Develop pricing and cost strategies to strengthen Harrington’s competitive position and support growth programs.
• Work with Suppliers and Marketing to design programs that grow sales, market share, and product adoption.
• Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and customer needs to identify expansion opportunities and new products.
• Coordinate with Sales, Supply Chain, Product Specialists, and Marketing to support category execution and field engagement.
