Job summary

Corning Incorporated in the United States seeks a seasoned sourcing and procurement professional responsible for end-to-end buying of equipment, materials, and services. You will oversee GSM strategies, supplier negotiations, and ensure compliance with policies while coordinating with plants and locations.

The role emphasizes contract management, KPI tracking, import/export, and IP protection, with opportunities to drive cost efficiency, manage relationships, and influence supply chain

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in supply chain operations, including project implementation and process optimization.
• Expertise in forecasting, procurement, planning, warehousing, and transportation.
• Experience leveraging ERP systems and SCM solutions to maximize operational efficiency.
• Strong communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
• Data-driven decision making and IP protection awareness.

Responsibilities

• Implement GSM strategies and procurement plans aligned with objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Global Buying Policy and audits.
• Lead supplier negotiations on contracts, pricing, and terms.
• Support plant expansion projects and collaborate across locations.
• Source equipment from domestic and international vendors.
• Expedite purchase orders and ensure timely SAP processing.
• Maintain communication across organizational levels and track KPIs.
