Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking a Staff Global Sourcing Manager, Metals to lead metals commodity strategy, develop supplier partnerships, and optimize cost, quality, and supply reliability across our products.

You will own end-to-end sourcing, negotiate terms, and collaborate with engineering to shape specs and drive new product introductions, while overseeing supplier performance and risk across the metals portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for raw metals (stainless steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.), focusing on cost reduction, technology development, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
• End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality materials and/or parts, when needed, at the right cost.
• Own the business relationship with external Suppliers and responsible for continuity of supply, risk management, cost negotiations, and NPI to MP operation execution.
• Partner with the Engineering team and Suppliers to influence technical design specs and customize product and manufacturing requirements.
• Negotiate key agreements with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, payment, warranty, and service terms.
• Provide strong technical direction within the specific commodities, by evaluating and guiding product strategy throughout the product lifecycle.
