Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, seeks a Staff Global Sourcing Manager, Metals to own raw metals procurement across products. You will lead end-to-end sourcing, develop supplier partnerships, and negotiate terms to secure quality materials at optimal costs while aligning with engineering needs.

You will champion TCO-driven decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage continuity of supply, risk, and performance metrics in a fast-moving defense tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of raw metals, and/or sourcing engineering.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute commodity strategies for raw metals, focusing on cost reduction, technology development, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience.
• End-to-end responsibility for delivering quality materials and/or parts, when needed, at the right cost.
• Act as the sourcing expert for raw metals.
• Lead RFI/RFQ/RFP and strategic sourcing process for raw metals.
• Own the business relationship with external suppliers and ensure continuity of supply, risk management, and cost negotiations.
• Collaborate with Engineering to influence design specs and manufacturing requirements.
• Perform detailed cost analyses and data-driven decision making based on total cost of ownership.
