Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a supply chain leader to develop and drive the global commodity strategy for metals, sheet & plate, rare earths and powders, including 3D printing materials. You will shift between tactical execution and multi-year strategic planning across global sites.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to forecast demand, optimize supplier bases, negotiate with key suppliers, and implement Lean and cost-optimization programs to improve delivery, quality, and cost performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Sourcing, Supplier Quality and/or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of global commodity supply chain strategies.
• Support sub tier inputs for coating powders and 3D printing materials.
• Forecast long-term demands for input materials with cross-functional teams.
• Develop strategic roadmaps and communicate metrics and execution.
• Drive negotiations and supplier management to optimize cost, quality and delivery.
• Lead safety, compliance, and Lean initiatives within sourcing.
