Job summary
GTI Fabrication in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Global Sourcing Manager, Metal to lead sourcing for raw metals across domestic and international markets. You will own category strategy, manage supplier selection, and drive cost reductions while ensuring supply continuity.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and NPI to optimize total landed cost, lead times, and risk mitigation. Travel to supplier sites as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or related field.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, category management, or supply chain leadership.
- Experience in complex manufacturing categories (industrial, OEM, contract).
- Strong negotiation, supplier development, and contracting experience.
- Proven cost savings and supplier performance improvements.
- Strong analytical skills including spend analysis, market intelligence, and forecasting.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end category management strategy for the raw metal spend category.
- Lead RFx, negotiations, and supplier onboarding.
- Develop contingency strategies and supplier diversification.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and NPI.
- Monitor supplier scorecards and drive cost reductions.
- Travel to supplier sites and GTI facilities as needed.
