Job summary

IEEE is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Membership Services Manager to lead the Member Operations function within the Member and Geographic Activities (MGA) organization. This role oversees the teams, processes, and financial operations that support the membership lifecycle, including the processing of applications and payments for new and renewing members and affiliates.

The position also provides leadership for global programs such as Senior Member elevations and Geo-Unit

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 4–7 years managing business operations in a production environment.
• Strong financial, budgeting, and vendor management skills.
• Experience leading customer service, operations, or administration teams.
• Global mindset and ability to operate across cultures.
• Excellent written and oral communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing Member Operations team.
• Oversee membership application and renewal processing activities.
• Manage global member programs, including Senior Member elevations and Geo-Unit inaugurations.
• Drive process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, invoices, and vendor relationships.
• Ensure high-quality support for members, volunteers, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead projects and collaborate across teams to improve service delivery and organizational effectiveness.
