Job summary

i-APS has been contracted to support ILAB with on-demand monitoring, evaluation, and data services across multiple regions. The Project Manager will oversee deliverables, staff, and subcontractors, ensuring high-quality outputs on schedule and within budget.

Candidates must hold US work authorization, have 5+ years in contract management and MEL, and be fluent in English to coordinate with stakeholders and ILAB staff. This is a full-time role based in the United States with flexible hours.

Qualifications

  • Authorization to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • At least 5 years of contract management experience in an international development context.
  • At least 5 years of experience performing and overseeing multiple MEL services.
  • At least 5 years of experience with administrative responsibilities, including meeting deadlines and overseeing deliverables.
  • At least 5 years of experience building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to produce high-quality deliverables in English on deadline.

Responsibilities

  • Hold primary responsibility for ensuring all deliverables are of the highest quality, on time and within budget.
  • Manage workflow across specialists, subcontractors, and others contributing to the work.
  • Act with full authority for i-APS on contract matters related to daily operations.
  • Identify problems, recommend resolutions, and manage the project team.
  • Provide quality control and plan/assign tasks to the evaluation team.
  • Serve as liaison with the COR and each evaluation’s key contact.
  • Review evaluation work and engage clients on program and technical issues.
  • Provide technical assistance to ILAB and project staff.
  • Identify and address technical areas of each evaluation and monitor performance and quality.
  • Prepare staffing and project plans and implement quality control standards.
  • Submit monthly progress reports and final deliverables.
  • Remain available during fieldwork hours per schedule.
