Job summary

US Dept. of Labor ILAB is seeking a Lead Evaluator for on‑demand monitoring, evaluation and data services. The role supports ILAB-funded projects across regions, with a 12-month base and four 12-month options.

Responsibilities include guiding the evaluation bench, ensuring quality deliverables, and leveraging AI in analysis. The candidate will lead virtual and hybrid teams, facilitate learning workshops, and deliver high-quality English reports on deadline. Authorization to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher required.
• At least 8 years of monitoring, evaluation, and learning experience with international development.
• Ability to facilitate trainings and lead cross-team learning workshops.
• Experience leading evaluation teams virtually or in hybrid settings.
• Proficiency in English with high-quality deliverables on deadline.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, implementation, and utilization of all M&E tasks under the contract.
• Conduct quality reviews and finalize requested deliverables.
• Apply expertise in program evaluation, indicator development, and data analysis.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to bench members.
• Coordinate on-site facilitation, data collection, and site visits as appropriate.
• Verify AI-assisted analysis before inclusion in deliverables.
