Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Global Meetings & Events Manager to lead complex programs from intake through closeout. You will partner with sponsors and senior leaders to define objectives, manage budgets, and ensure compliant, high-quality attendee experiences across global events.

The role requires coordination of cross-functional teams, proactive risk management, and strategic guidance on event design and technology. Expect travel and a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, Masters, Bachelors, or equivalent experience in a relevant field as listed in Basic Qualifications.
• Experience in life sciences or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong project and budget management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-visibility programs and executive events.
• Translate objectives into timelines, agendas, and operational workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage risks, budgets, and approvals.
• Oversee registration, attendee experience, and on-site execution.
• Provide strategic guidance on event design, compliance, and post-event analysis.
