Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Global Meetings & Events Manager to lead high-visibility programs from intake through closeout. You will partner with sponsors, manage attendee experience, and oversee budgets and compliance across multiple workstreams. Travel approximately 30% for onsite support.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to manage concurrent programs in a fast-paced environment within the GMM framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, communications, event management or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• 5+ years of corporate or agency meeting or event planning experience delivering complex programs.
• Experience managing budgets, forecasts, supplier scopes, invoice review and post-event reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end strategy, planning, execution and closeout of complex programs.
• Translate sponsor objectives into actionable program plans and attendee requirements.
• Define objectives, ownership, decisions and contingency plans; manage multiple programs.
