Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a strategic advisor within Global Sourcing to coordinate and execute new product introduction and commercialization efforts for medical products from third-party manufacturers or internal sources.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Sourcing, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Logistics and external suppliers to enable portfolio expansion, define product needs, and support business priorities. Travel up to 5% domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 5+ years in global strategic sourcing for medical devices or healthcare with large revenue exposure.
• Experience developing and implementing sourcing requirements and change management methodologies.
• Experience coordinating executive meetings and leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives.
• Strong Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills; familiarity with Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Create RFPs and align award recommendations per Cardinal Health sourcing process.
• Support portfolio projects to fill gaps and drive cost reduction.
• Improve Private Brand sourcing and new product introduction processes.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities for new product introduction and commercialization.
