Qualifications

• 4+ years of Medical Professional Liability underwriting experience.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes information to decide on account acceptance and classification.
• Approves applications, renewals, and endorsements within authority; calculates premiums.
• Communicates underwriting decisions effectively and documents them.
• Manages assigned territory to meet financial objectives.
• Develops relationships with agents and brokers through clear communication.
• Coordinates and leads training on underwriting processes.
• Maintains knowledge of competitive pricing and product offerings.
• Participates in presentations to insureds and prospects.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
• Researches healthcare and insurance trends.
