Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a Senior Medical Director, Medical Science to lead medical strategy, sponsor interactions, safety oversight, and study governance across oncology and hematology programs. You will mentor teams, oversee global trials, and contribute to protocol design and risk assessment.

The role requires an MD/DO/MBBS with hematology/oncology fellowship, 10+ years in clinical research, and strong leadership in client-facing settings.

Qualifications

MD/DO/MBBS or equivalent with residency completed.
Minimum 10 years combined experience in academic and/or industry clinical research in drug development.
Experience as a Medical Monitor on clinical oncology and/or rare trials is required.
Clinical practice experience of 3-5 years preferred.
Board certification in hematology and/or oncology preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as a senior medical and scientific leader in sponsor interactions and build trusted partnerships.
Represent the organization in client meetings, scientific presentations, conferences, and bid defense activities.
Provide medical and scientific input during feasibility assessments including study design and site selection.
Act as Medical Monitor for assigned studies and ensure patient safety and scientific rigor.
Review study protocols, SAPs, CRFs, and other key documents and provide expert input.
Lead complex global clinical programs and provide oversight to regional leaders and project teams.
Mentor Medical Directors and colleagues across the organization.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, quality, and client experience.
