Job summary

3M is seeking an IATD Business Development Manager – Medical Device and Diagnostics to drive growth with medical device manufacturers, OEMs, and contract manufacturers. You will lead cross-functional teams, identify and pursue opportunities, and manage executive-level relationships.

You will work primarily on-site at the 3M Center in St. Paul, MN, with travel up to 50% domestically and potential relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher completed before start.
• Five years of combined sales and/or marketing experience in private, public, government or military settings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy for medical device manufacturers, OEMs, and contract manufacturers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target accounts and segments.
• Build and manage relationships with engineering, sourcing, quality, manufacturing and executive leadership.
• Lead the sales process from prospecting through qualification, development, negotiation and closing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align products with customer requirements.
• Understand customer needs and regulatory expectations; develop strategic account plans.
• Maintain a sales pipeline, forecast, and opportunity tracking using CRM tools.
• Monitor industry trends and competition to identify opportunities and risks.
• Represent the company at meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
