Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Head of Mechanical Strategic Supply Chain to architect and execute sourcing across mechanical commodities, including precision CNC, castings, plastics, composites, sheet metal, and fasteners. Lead a high-performing team to ensure supply continuity amid geopolitical and market volatility, partnering with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and executive leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline and 10+ years in mechanical/structural sourcing.
5+ years building and scaling procurement teams.
Experience negotiating enterprise-level agreements and multi-million-dollar terms.

Responsibilities

Define and execute multi-year global commodity and sourcing strategies.
Build and lead a team of commodity managers and sourcing engineers.
Serve as executive sponsor for Tier 1 suppliers and contract manufacturers.
Collaborate with Engineering to drive DFM, GD&T cost optimizations, and material selection.
Lead negotiations for MSAs, development agreements, and complex SOWs.
