Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 7 years of mechanical engineering experience.
• 4 years in functional leadership.
• Experience with global teams and external development partners.
• Experience developing and launching a new product.
• Experience in DFSS methodology.

Responsibilities

• Lead Mechanical Engineering functional authority and standardize processes across the team.
• Improve tools, processes, methodologies, and best practices for engineering excellence.
• Drive technical rigor via architecture reviews, design reviews, risk assessments, and problem-solving.
• Ensure quality management system compliance and documentation standards.
• Foster innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Assess feasibility, plan resources, and track progress for tasks.
• Develop organizational capability and build a scalable mechanical engineering organization.
• Lead and mentor engineers across experience levels; manage performance and succession.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met and resources allocated.
• Partner with global leaders to align strategy, tools, and standards across NA and Europe.
• Contribute to long-term strategy and establish a Center of Excellence model.
• Promote data-driven decision making and disciplined governance.
