Job summary

PROENERGY is seeking a Global Commodity Manager – Forging & Machining to lead the sourcing strategy for critical forged and machined components. You will build and manage a global supplier network, drive NPI execution, and ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets across multiple sites in the United States.

You will oversee supplier relationships, negotiate long-term agreements, and lead efforts to optimize total cost of ownership while maintaining high standards of integrity and accountability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in global sourcing or commodity management.
• Deep technical understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain constraints.
• Experience with strategic supplier networks and risk mitigation.
• Leadership in supplier performance and negotiations.
• US work authorization and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale, and maintain a global network of strategic suppliers.
• Lead supplier governance, segmentation, and performance reviews.
• Drive NPI readiness and ensure robust APQP/PPAP/FAI execution.
• Deliver cost savings through strategic sourcing and supplier productivity.
• Manage on-time delivery and supply continuity; mitigate risks.
