Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Associate Materials Manager to drive global materials sourcing for Private and Exclusive brands from our Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll partner with Design/Production to develop fabrics, manage the material library, and guide supplier selection to meet cost, quality, and sustainability targets.

The role requires collaboration across Sourcing, Design, Production, and external mills, with a focus on cost execution, benchmarking, and supplier capability

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in textiles, product development, sourcing, production, supply chain, or related retail functions.
• Textile construction knowledge with a global supply chain perspective.
• Experience in development, sourcing, costing, or material commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Develop materials to support consolidation, fabric strategy and newness.
• Guide partner selection for execution and share intel from mills/garment partners.
• Maintain fabric library to support innovation and trend for team use.
• Work with mills to meet cost, IMU, quality, performance, and sustainability expectations.
• Maintain material libraries and suggest existing qualities when appropriate.
• Support material testing standards and pass ratings.
• Manage PLM and development tools for seasonal materials and status updates.
• Execute sourcing strategies by category, brand, gender, and mill to meet cost, quality and lead-time goals.
