Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking a Senior Talent Development Designer for its Corporate Office in Menomonee Falls, WI. You will lead the design and delivery of innovative learning experiences, manage projects from concept to completion, and partner with leaders to apply ADDIE and adult learning principles.

You will influence stakeholders, facilitate engaging sessions (in-person and virtual), and continuously improve learning delivery through new technologies and formats.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal consulting and communication skills.
• Expertise in design software tools such as Articulate, Adobe Suite, Google Suite and Vyond.
• Expert facilitation skills for both in-person and virtual environments.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Curiosity and ongoing learning, ability to mentor others in latest instructional design trends.
• Experience in designing evaluation strategies and analyzing data to measure effectiveness and impact of learning programs.
• Commitment to continuous improvement through peer, manager and organizational feedback.
• Confidence in using AI technology to enhance and speed learning design.
• Experience in consulting and navigating complex organizational challenges.
• Experience in peer leadership and contributing to successful outcomes.
• Occasional overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and delivery of innovative learning experiences aligned with Kohl’s strategies.
• Manage complex learning projects from concept to completion with stakeholders.
• Lead live and virtual facilitation with engaging sessions.
• Apply ADDIE methodology and adult learning principles.
• Design with tools like Articulate, Adobe, Google Suite and Vyond.
• Develop engaging stories, activities, graphics and interactions.
• Adopt new learning technologies and delivery channels.
• Evaluate learning content to measure satisfaction and impact.
• Advise on content deployment through the Learning Management System (Workday) and communications.
