Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), a Danaher operating company, is seeking a Director of Materials Planning in Coralville, IA (on-site) to drive inventory strategy and governance across global operations.

You will lead a team of materials planning professionals, optimize working capital, and partner with manufacturing, operations, finance, procurement, and commercial teams to align planning with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in materials planning, supply planning, inventory management, supply chain, or operations.
• Experience leading materials planning, supply chain, operations, or related teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead global materials planning strategy to ensure material availability and inventory health.
• Own inventory policy, stocking strategies, planning parameters, and governance for ~$56M in inventory across eight sites.
• Drive working capital improvement through disciplined inventory management, strategic planning, and proactive excess and obsolescence risk mitigation.
• Improve On-Time Delivery performance by ensuring material supply, planning accuracy, and inventory policies support production schedules.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of materials planning professionals, building capability and accountability.
• Serve as the business lead for inventory and planning programs like IMAG, PFEP, and AI-enabled planning capabilities.
• Partner cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, finance, procurement, and supply chain teams to align planning with objectives.
