Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company seeks a Director of Materials Planning & Logistics to lead planning, inventory, logistics, and SIOP for the Heavy Duty Equipment segment. You will drive supply continuity, planning discipline, and cross‑functional execution in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires 10+ years in materials and logistics leadership, with a track record of mentoring teams and delivering lean improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years leading materials planning, supply planning, demand planning, SIOP, and/or logistics in manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership managing salaried and hourly teams.
• Experience across materials planning/PFEP, production control, tactical purchasing, inventory control, demand planning, and master data management.
• Strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced analytical, presentation, and data management capabilities.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop teams across multiple locations.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class materials planning, demand planning, and SIOP team for the HDE strategy.
• Drive supply chain digital transformation with IT for visibility, planning accuracy, and execution.
• Develop the Supply Planning team to optimize inventory and material flow.
• Integrate with CI teams to improve planning and operations in HDE.
• Create centralized planning with Supplier Fulfillment Leader structure for accountability and responsiveness.
• Establish SAP master data governance standards for planning-critical data.
• Develop short-term supply and demand synchronization across HDE sites.
