Job summary

Vectrus, Inc. seeks a Material Coordinator to align planning, logistics, and production on the shop floor, ensuring orders start with all required materials and documentation.

You will drive material readiness, monitor work orders, update ERP records, and help maintain production stability through proactive coordination and real-time inventory control. U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in materials coordination, production control, or inventory operations.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, part numbers, and bill of materials.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to work across multiple teams and departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify delivery of materials and documentation to production.
• Ensure readiness of orders by reviewing work orders and material availability.
• Monitor and track work order progress, addressing barriers to ensure timely completion.
• Proactively identify and resolve material shortages or discrepancies before impact to production.
• Update ERP systems with accurate material movements, completions, and adjustments.
