Job summary

V2X Inc. is seeking a Material Coordinator to optimize material readiness and production stability on the shop floor in Indianapolis, Indiana. You will collaborate with planning, logistics, and factory operations to ensure orders start with complete requirements and accurate BOMs, while updating ERP systems with movements and adjustments.

The role requires 2+ years in materials coordination, U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in materials coordination, production control, or inventory operations.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, part numbers, and bill of materials.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills to work across multiple teams and departments.

The Material Coordinator collaborates with planning, logistics, and factory operations, ensuring that work orders begin with everything required for successful execution. This includes resolving material shortages and maintaining data integrity within our systems.

The successful Material Coordinator will support overall schedule adherence, drive material readiness, and contribute to production stability through proactive coordination and real-time inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and verify delivery of materials and documentation to production.

Material & Equipment Directly Used

Working Environment

• This role is primarily performed on the production floor with frequent walking, standing, and material handling.

Education / Certifications

• One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required.
• High school diploma or GED required
• Associate’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field preferred.
