Job summary

Bank of Montreal in New York seeks a senior markets sales & service professional to provide a markets-based suite of sales and trading solutions to institutional, corporate, and retail clients. You will contribute to growing the BMO Capital Markets brand and lead client engagements across debt, FX, rates, credit, equity, and commodities.

The role requires deep knowledge of capital markets, strong client relationship skills, and the ability to manage risk, P&L, and regulatory considerations.

Qualifications

• Typically 9 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Degree in Accounting/Economics/Mathematics/Statistics, CFA preferred.
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, pricing, and trading/hedging strategies.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to growing the BMO and BMO Capital Market brand with a commitment to and presence in the community.
• Manages a client book and is accountable for the risk, profit & loss and limits for the book.
• Works with sales, trading and research teams to provide seamless client coverage and market updates.
