Job summary

Global Banking and Markets in Dallas (Scotiabank) is seeking a Senior Analyst to support GBM&T Central Compliance programs, working closely with the Director, Strategy & Governance Markets Compliance to promote consistent governance, oversight, monitoring, and reporting of employee conduct-related programs.

The role contributes to strategic initiatives, manages committee activities, prepares governance reports, maintains confidential data, and delivers actionable insights to improve behavior

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in compliance testing, internal/external audit, business or risk management.
• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Experience in a non-U.S. bank and global matrixed environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships.
• Coordinate the activities of the GBM&T Compliance Misconduct Committee and maintain procedures.
• Review submissions and drive smooth and efficient CMC meetings.
• Propose enhancements to the CMC mandate and related processes.
• Report KRIs and KPIs to governance forums.
• Support audits and regulatory information requests.
• Prepare governance reporting and maintain data confidentiality.
• Identify trends and deliver actionable insights to drive behavior.
• Administer the CMC data portal and mailbox for users.
• Support Enterprise Conduct, Risk Culture, and Ethics initiatives.
• Ensure alignment with risk appetite, values, and day-to-day controls.
• Foster a high-performance, inclusive work environment.
