Job summary

Scotiabank in Dallas seeks a Manager of Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management to support CID&A's RCM program, audits, and regulatory issue management. You will coordinate across stakeholders to track findings, manage controls, and guide process improvements.

The role requires experience in regulated environments, strong communication, and leadership to coach teams and ensure timely delivery within risk parameters.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex regulatory, risk or compliance transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of enterprise risk frameworks, regulatory change and governance environments.
• Experience in a highly regulated industry with tight timelines and supervisory oversight.
• Coaching teams to higher performance with processes and skill building.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate end-to-end implementation of Compliance RCM Controls Program in alignment with OSFI E-13 Guideline.
• Create and manage a portfolio view of CID&A processes and support SLA/KPI creation; review end-to-end processes.
• Maintain regulatory compliance universe including issue management, training, monitoring & testing.
• Act as primary CID&A liaison for audit and second line, coordinating findings and issues.
• Oversee change events affecting the RCM program artefacts and ensure documentation reflects changes.
• Report to Senior Executives on exposure to regulatory risks and control adequacy.
• Collaborate with Data & AI Risk, Global Compliance, Chief Data Office, Audit and others to maximize RCM program efficiency.
• Foster a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage bank-wide resources.
• Direct day-to-day activities to align with risk appetite and governance.
