Job summary

Forj Medical is seeking a Senior Program Manager to build and lead its manufacturing transfer program. You will own planning and execution of production line transfers, site transfers, and site decommissioning, including Costa Rica and other international locations.

Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in a technical/engineering/operations field; PMP is a plus.
• 8+ years of PM/Program mgmt in medical device manufacturing.
• Experience leading production line transfers or site transfers, including multi-facility overseas.
• Ability to build/manage complex project plans in MS Project/Planner.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• FDA, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 knowledge.
• Willingness to travel ~30% including international travel.

Responsibilities

• Build transfer program function from the ground up with standard approach, tools, templates, and governance for production line and site transfers.
• Lead multiple concurrent transfer programs end to end, including strategy, alignment, knowledge transfer, documentation readiness, equipment and process transition, validation support, training, ramp, and post-transfer stabilization.
• Build realistic, defensible schedules grounded in equipment knowledge, and challenge estimates from sending/receiving sites.
• Develop and own detailed program plans in MS Project/Planner, including schedules, resources, budgets, milestones; direct execution with minimal oversight.
• Lead cross-site and international transfer activities, coordinating with the Costa Rica site and time-zone differences.
• Lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment with empathy for employees during site transitions and closures.
• Report program status, risks, and recommendations to Operations leadership.
• Partner with the customer-facing Office to align commitments with transfer plans.
• Continuously improve transfer processes and define future-state structure of the program.
