Job summary

Vertiv in the United States is seeking a process driver to support manufacturing operations. The right candidate will bring significant experience in industrial engineering, strategic planning, project management, and capacity planning, with a focus on global manufacturing strategies, footprint optimization, and capital investment planning to sustain scalable, cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing experience including project management and industrial context.
• Knowledge of global supply chain dynamics and total landed cost.
• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills; able to influence at all levels.
• Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement background.
• Experience managing footprint requirements and facility planning.
• Strong CAPEX planning and justification experience.
• Analytical skills including financial modeling and capacity planning software (e.g., Simio).
• Experience with digital manufacturing tools (MES, digital twins) is a plus.
• Prior experience in plant management or multi-shift operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing footprint strategies across factors like cost and risk.
• Identify demand signals, determine capacity constraints, and drive cross-functional solutions.
• Lead capital expenditure planning and justification for investments.
• Conduct capacity modeling, scenario planning, and throughput analysis.
• Partner with regional teams to align with growth forecasts and demand variability.
• Apply industrial engineering to drive efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance for alignment.
• Own stakeholder management up to executive level and present updates regularly.
• Support product transfers and ramp-ups across regions with minimal disruption.
• Leverage MES/ERP data to drive strategic planning and capacity analysis.
