Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking a hands-on Business Segment Controller for a Fortune 500 leader in electronic instruments and electromechanical devices based in New York. You will partner with the business unit manager to oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cost accounting for manufacturing operations.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Master's preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive manufacturing accounting and finance experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, ASC 606, and SOX 404.
• Product cost accounting, inventory management, and working capital optimization.
• Public company and M&A experience preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, month-end close, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Budgets & forecasts, analyzing revenue, profitability, expenses, and working capital.
• Monitor KPIs, improve productivity, reduce costs, and support product development.
• Oversee product costing, inventory valuation, physical counts, and obsolete inventory reserves.
• Drive working capital improvements across accounts receivable, inventory, accounts payable, and other operating accounts.
• Evaluate capital expenditures & prepare financial analyses, inc: NPV calculations.
• Compliance with US GAAP, SOX requirements, internal controls, & company policies.
• Support internal and external audits and divisional reporting requirements.
