Job summary

Elemental Brands in Reno, NV seeks a Global Manufacturing Project Manager or Associate Manager to oversee complex projects involving offshore production and Asia-based contract manufacturers, coordinating imported sub-assemblies.

You will bridge overseas partners with domestic engineering, quality, OMS, and distribution teams, ensuring compliance, schedule adherence, and high-quality delivery across time zones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of project management or production coordination with overseas manufacturing, Asia focus.
• Must have valid passport and travel up to 15% annually.
• Global Operations knowledge: international manufacturing practices, QC, shipping, cross-cultural communication.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP, CAD/architectural tools, CPQ, and collaboration suites.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end projects with contract manufacturers and suppliers in Asia.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 15% to inspect facilities and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with Technologies and Sr. Director for hand-offs and reviews.
• Align engineering, APAC, Product, Accounting, Supply Chain, Quality, OMS, and Distribution timelines.
• Analyze drawings, BOMs, and customer requirements for mass production readiness.
• Establish SOPs for overseas hand-offs, import coordination, and sample approvals.
• Monitor capacity, lead times, and shipping schedules to mitigate risks.
• Create and present project metrics and leadership updates.
• Prioritize overseas production runs based on demand and inventory needs.
• Conduct post-production reviews with Asia QC teams for quality checks.
• Support special supply chain and vendor management initiatives.
